Russian roulette: Indiana teen killed while playing fatal game

According to an updated report from Kokomo Tribune on Dec. Back in August, a 13-year-old boy in Florida was killed after apparently playing a deadly game of Russian roulette with a friend. The teen was killed after a bullet reportedly struck him in the chest.. Then he pointed the gun to his head and fired. Despite lifesaving efforts by the occupants of the residence and first responders, the victim was pronounced dead at the scene.

An investigation into the teen’s death was initiated by the sheriff’s deputies and as of time of this report, the official investigation into the incident is ongoing. Upon arriving on the scene after receiving a call that the boy had shot himself, first responders discovered that teen had suffered what appeared to be a single gunshot wound to the head.

A 17-year-old died in a small town in Indiana while playing Russian roulette before the horrified eyes of some friends. The Miami County Sheriff’s investigators are working closely with the Indiana State Police and the Miami County Coroners Office, the press release concluded.

Unfortunately, the Indiana teen’s Russian roulette death is not the first of its kind. 6, deputies say one round was discharged into the victim’s temple.

The incident happened Thursday night and the apparent one-man game of Russian roulette ended tragically for the Indiana teen. Investigators said a group of about five teens were standing around when one of them, a 15-year-old, allegedly pulled the trigger of the gun a few times before it went off. The boys, at the home of one of them, were playing PlayStation when the victim, identified as Leroy Young, pulled out a gun and loaded it with a single bullet and then spun the cylinder
